If you?re interested in helping us meet the animals, please message us! 📝 Shelter Notes 11/20/25 ? When grabbing Comet from the kennel run he behaved normally after placing in the kennel and I went to walk the next dog. He began forward barking at the dogs walking by, low body, pointed ears and showing teeth at them. When he is showing teeth he begins to hit the kennel door with his face. 11/18/25 ? ACT had walked dog out to the runs, I went to leash after and dog was loose with a high wagging tail. Walked on a loose leash back to kennel. Went into kennel with no issues. As I went back later on to spot clean dog was loose and relaxed wagging his tail with an open mouth smile. 11/17/25 ? Approaching kennel, dog was sitting in the front of kennel with dilated eyes, wiggly body, and fast wagging tail. Once I leashed him he walked on a semi tight leash with some body language. I did not notice any behavior so I placed him in the runs and he quickly ran to the back and started to sniff around. 11/16/25 ? ACT had a hard time leashing dog. Once leashed began backing away. ACT attempted to muzzle and dog kept moving. Once muzzled had to be carried to new kennel. Once dog was in kennel began to forward bark. 11/16/25 ? When walking past kennel Comet started forward barking, lunging at kennel door showing bare teeth. Tried to calm him down with baby talk but stood stiff with dilated eyes and low growling. 11/15/25 ? Owner said Comet is reactive towards other dogs. 11/15/25 ? Walking to kennel he pancaked and had to pick up and carry to kennel. 🚑 Medical Notes 11/15/25 ? Normal exam. HW test negative. Dewormed. Vaccinated (DAP2PV, Bordetella, Rabies). Advantage Multi applied. Pyrantel given.
