About Sherlock

Intake Info: Sherlock (A1762670) is a sweet senior boy whose previous owner relinquished him due to incontinence and occasional seizures. Since arriving in our care, neither issue has been observed. His owner initially requested humane euthanasia, citing that he wasn?t being properly cared for due to work and additional dogs in the home. Medical: Sherlock is heartworm negative and fully processed. He will need a dental cleaning and a screening for possible seizures and incontinence, but is otherwise healthy and doing well, HS-2. Volunteer Notes: Sherlock is friendly, happy, bright, and alert. He is energetic for his age, food motivated, and appears housebroken?he had one overnight accident in his cage but eliminated outside during his morning walk. Request to Rescues: Sherlock is a handsome senior dog who deserves a loving home for his remaining years. He has a calm, friendly demeanor, is food motivated, and would thrive in a stable environment where he can receive consistent care and companionship. With proper attention to dental health and monitoring for any future issues, Sherlock will make a wonderful lifelong companion.
