Euth Req | Labrador Retriever Mix | Neutered Male | 2Y | 55.4 lbs | HW Negative 💜 Volunteer Notes: This guy is super handsome. He?s already neutered and heartworm negative. He wasn?t clingy at all. He was content walking around and he was super interested in dogs around him. When we walked a dog by his kennel he was a little barrier reactive, but the second that we got him out he was just fine with the other dog. My phone died so I didn?t get a lot of pictures and videos, but he?s so handsome and loved treats. 📝 Shelter Notes: 11/15/2025 ? Was placed in outdoor kennels as a move adopt in the morning, walked on a forward leash while sniffing the ground and picking from trail of treats. 11/14/2025 ? Went to retrieve dog from runs, Cartman had a neutral body in the runs. I opened the run and leashed him. He walked loosely as I took him back inside to the kennel. 11/12/2025 ? Approach kennel, Cartman was standing in front of the kennel with neutral body, curled tail and neutral face. I reach in slowly place the leash on him and he walk out of the kennel with a neutral body. Cartman slowly walk to the next row and walk him into his kennel, removed the leash with no issues. 11/11/2025 ? Cartman was standing at the front of the kennel door as I approached, he then backed away with dilated pupils once he saw me. I showed him the leash through the kennel door and began using baby talk to call out to him. He came near and sniffed the leash and began wagging his tail. I slowly opened door and leashed dog up. He slowly walked out of kennel following me to new kennel. Followed me in and I was able to remove leash and exit. Loose relaxed body. 11/10/2025 ? Dog was tense, flinchy, didn?t take treats, tail between legs. 11/19/2025 ? He continues to be vocal and reactive behind cover when dogs pass by. Once out of the kennel, he presents with a loose body, high wagging tail, and a soft, relaxed ?smiling? mouth. 11/18/2025 ? Noticed Cartman being reactive, barking, and lunging when dog passed by his kennel. The kennel door remained covered; a darker blanket was placed so he could not see out, which appeared to help. When approached, he had a loose body, wagging tail, and soft panting. 11/17/2025 ? Standing in front of kennel door with a wagging tail and ?smiling? mouth; easy to leash; walked on a loose leash to and from runs following treat trail. 11/16/2025 ? Vocalizing in kennel during morning cleaning. Pulls forward on leash when walking; calmer on return; sometimes vocalizes in kennel when people walk by. 🚑 Medical Notes: 11/10/25 ? 55.4 lbs. Behavior. HW test negative.
