Intake Info: Sassy (A2220884) is an adorable girl who was brought to our shelter on 11/05. She has a microchip, but attempts to contact her owner were unsuccessful. Medical: Sassy is heartworm positive. She was fully processed; however, the vet was unable to listen to her heart during the exam due to how scared she was. Volunteer Notes: Sassy is timid but exceptionally sweet. She is easy to walk and does not bark in a catch pen. Initially shy when approached, she gradually became affectionate and enjoyed petting. She loves attention and belly rubs, had the zoomies in the yard, and appears housebroken. She is coming out of her shell and is an all-around wonderful dog. Staff Notes: Sassy was nervous, quiet, and shy while being processed. Request to Rescues: Sassy is very scared in the shelter environment and would thrive in a cozy home, especially with the holidays approaching. She is a young girl who would benefit from a stable rescue where she can acclimate comfortably and begin her heartworm treatment.
