Stress, confinement, and unfamiliar surroundings can cause dogs to act out?or suppress behaviors that may emerge later. A dog's behavior may change based on surroundings, training, medical, socialization, and life experiences. She had a wiggly body and was soliciting affection from the runner as the collar was easily clasped around her neck. She remained loose as she exchanged good greetings with several dogs through the play yard fence. She was timid entering the play yard with a low tail and concerned eyes. She noticed a handler and ran up to him with a loose body to solicit affection. She was then approached by a male shepherd. She was relaxed with a neutral tail wag as she exchanged a good greeting. She spent a few minutes calmly exploring the yard, exchanging good greetings with other dogs she came across. She suddenly became playful, zooming around the yard. She playfully ran up to the male shepherd and enticed him for play. She play bowed and pin wheeled in front of him. He declined her request, but she remained playful, running up to a female shepherd and enticing her. The shepherd briefly chased with her around the yard but quickly lost interest. Tiger Lily continued enticing play from other dogs unsuccessfully. She remained playful and social for the rest of her time in the yard. She displayed a gentle/dainty play style.
